Early Intervention Program
The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is a program especially for people who have just found out that they are living with HIV.
As part of the EIP, you will receive the following at no cost:
- Medical check-ups by HIV experts
- Laboratory tests, including:
- T-cell and viral load counts
- Testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), hepatitis, and more
- Individual counseling sessions with a licensed therapist (counselor)
- Education about ways to stay healthy while living with HIV
- Help finding a medical provider for follow-up care
- Referrals to other local HIV services providers
