Early Intervention Program

The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is a program especially for people who have just found out that they are living with HIV.

 

As part of the EIP, you will receive the following at no cost:

  • Medical check-ups by HIV experts
  • Laboratory tests, including:
    • T-cell and viral load counts
    • Testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), hepatitis, and more
    • Individual counseling sessions with a licensed therapist (counselor)
    • Education about ways to stay healthy while living with HIV
    • Help finding a medical provider for follow-up care
    • Referrals to other local HIV services providers
