PrEP

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is a once-daily medication that may help reduce the risk of HIV infection. The AVRC advocates the use of PrEP as a tool for HIV prevention, in addition to safer sex practices. We proudly participate in PrEP research to help better understand how PrEP can be effectively used to help prevent HIV infection.

Learn more about PrEP, educational resources and opportunities to access PrEP through research study participation at www.prepstudy.org.
